An informational and educational seminar was held for students of Shakarim University as part of the "My Flag – My Homeland" campaign, organized by the "Heraldic Research Center" of the Archive, Documentation, and Library Affairs Committee under the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the support of Shakarim University.
The event was aimed at fostering respect for state symbols among individuals and legal entities, enhancing their status, and promoting their significance. During the seminar, the head of the department of the Heraldic Research Center, Adilkhayır Myrzakhanov, introduced the activities of the center, while Asylzhan Bizhanov delivered a presentation on the history of state symbols. In addition, the regulations on the use of state symbols were discussed, and the rights and responsibilities of individuals and legal entities regarding their usage were explained. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of state symbols and the necessity of respecting them.
The meeting, designed to strengthen national identity and promote respect for state symbols, allowed participants to ask questions and engage in discussions.
A heraldic quiz was also conducted as part of the event, with active participants receiving special gifts and commemorative badges.
